Orbit Rotatable Gimbal

Orbit is a compact gimbal downlight for retrofit work. It rotates 360° and tilts 80°, so light can be aimed precisely from vaulted ceilings, soffits and conventional flat ceilings alike. It comes in a 2" round version and a 4" version in round or square. The 4" Orbit uses a 9W engine delivering up to 1125 lumens at a typical CRI of 96. The 2" Orbit runs at 5W, delivering 420 to 505 lumens at a typical CRI of 93, and is ordered with a narrow 24°, medium 38° or wide 50° beam. Both have an on-fixture switch to select 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K on site. Both are rated for wet locations and approved for direct contact with insulation, with a Class II driver. The 4" installs from below with two spring-loaded clips into a 4-1/4" (108mm) cut-out and is airtight; the 2" needs a 2-3/4" (70mm) cut-out and installs for remodel or new construction. With TRIAC/ELV dimmers the 4" dims 100%–3% and the 2" 100%–10%. Both are cETLus listed, Energy Star and Title 24 compliant, rated for 70% lumen maintenance at 50,000 hours and backed by a lifetime warranty. Finishes are white and black, with brushed nickel also offered on the 4".
