Multiple apertures. Minimal architectural presence. NICOLE reimagines the conventional multiple downlight through a remarkably compact, trimless architectural format. Measuring just 98 mm wide and 50 mm high, this precision lighting system integrates two or three miniature LED apertures into a single fixture, reducing visual clutter while maintaining precise control over the distribution of light. Designed to complement minimalist interiors, NICOLE creates a subtle rhythm of small illuminated openings rather than the larger visible housings associated with conventional recessed multiple downlights. One fixture. Multiple lighting possibilities. The symmetrical versions provide controlled downlighting through a selection of 15°, 34° and 40° beam angles, making NICOLE well suited to focused accents, circulation lighting and carefully composed pools of illumination. The more distinctive configuration incorporates B-LIGHT's specialized wallwasher optics. Each optical system combines a 25° downward beam with simultaneous asymmetric wall illumination, allowing the luminaire to illuminate vertical surfaces while maintaining useful light on the floor. This dual-function approach can simplify architectural lighting layouts by reducing the need for separate downlighting and wallwashing fixtures. A different approach to corridor lighting. NICOLE is particularly compelling in corridors and circulation spaces, where conventional recessed downlights often illuminate the floor while leaving adjacent walls comparatively dark. Its specialized wallwasher configurations can direct two apertures toward the same wall, illuminate opposing walls simultaneously or address three separate walls. The optical system extends illumination toward the upper edges of the walls, minimizing the visible dark bands and scalloping associated with conventional wallwashing. The result is a more balanced visual environment, with greater emphasis on vertical illumination and the perceived proportions of the space. For residential hallways, hotel corridors, galleries and commercial circulation areas, NICOLE offers a sophisticated alternative to conventional rows of downlights. Integrated into the architectural material. NICOLE accommodates two distinct installation approaches. In plasterboard ceilings, a dedicated mounting frame allows the luminaire to be installed from below, creating a refined trimless integration. For wood, stone and composite ceilings, the fixture can be mounted from above, either completely flush with the finished surface or projecting up to 7 mm. This flexibility makes NICOLE especially relevant to high-end millwork, custom architectural ceilings and interiors where lighting equipment must remain visually subordinate to the surrounding materials. Precision LED performance and control. Each miniature LED aperture operates at 3W, with complete configurations consuming 6W or 9W. White-light versions are available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K with CRI93 colour rendering, while a red-light option is available for specialized navigation applications. Remote-driver solutions support 0–10V or DALI dimming with compatible equipment, allowing NICOLE to integrate into sophisticated architectural lighting-control systems.
