Designed specifically for gypsum construction, the aluminum extrusion incorporates a grooved plastering surface that allows the profile to be finished flush with the surrounding drywall. Compatible with standard 5/8-inch gypsum board, the system provides a practical, repeatable solution for architects, designers and contractors. Two Channels. Complete Lighting Flexibility. The 8920 incorporates two independent LED channels with different orientations, allowing designers to select and configure the lighting according to the architectural application. Each channel accommodates compatible LED strips up to 12 mm wide, providing freedom in colour temperature, output and control. The system can be specified with static white, warm dim, tunable white or colour-changing LED options. Compatible drivers allow dimming and scene control according to project requirements. The architectural profile remains consistent while the lighting configuration can evolve. Engineered for Installation Manufactured in Canada from aluminum, the 8920 is supplied in 2438 mm (96-inch) sections that can be cut to suit project dimensions. Straight joiners and prefabricated corner components support continuous architectural details, including rectangular and custom ceiling configurations. Available lens options provide further flexibility in completing the lighting assembly.
