Minimal presence. Remarkable optical control. INSIDE 40 R challenges the conventional relationship between fixture size and lighting performance. With a housing diameter of only 39 mm and a visible aperture measuring just 13 mm, this miniature recessed luminaire integrates discreetly into ceilings, preserving the architectural surface while delivering carefully controlled illumination. Its deeply recessed optical system is engineered to minimize direct glare, allowing light to emerge from an almost imperceptible opening. The result is a quiet, sophisticated ceiling composition particularly suited to minimalist interiors, fine architectural detailing and spaces where conventional downlights would be visually intrusive. One miniature fixture. Two distinct lighting functions. The fixed symmetrical version offers precise downlighting with a selection of narrow, medium, wide and oval distributions. It provides a remarkably discreet solution for general illumination, focused accents and controlled pools of light. The wallwasher version is especially compelling. Its asymmetric reflector combines a 25° downward beam with a simultaneous wash of the adjacent wall. Light begins at the upper edge of the wall and continues toward the floor without the characteristic dark band often associated with conventional wallwashers. This dual distribution can provide both vertical illumination and useful floor lighting from a single miniature aperture. Designed to disappear into the architecture. INSIDE 40 R integrates into plasterboard ceilings or precision millwork using dedicated mounting frames. The trimless installation eliminates the visual interruption of a conventional downlight bezel, allowing the ceiling material and architectural detailing to remain dominant. The compact aluminum construction is available in black or white, with high-colour-rendering LED options and remote-driver dimming. Selected fixed-optic configurations also support wet-location installations, extending the design possibilities beyond conventional dry interiors.
