Gypsum Bullnose

Bullnose Cove transforms indirect lighting into an integral architectural feature. Its distinctive rounded gypsum profile creates a soft, sculpted transition between illuminated surfaces, eliminating the need for conventional exposed lighting channels or decorative fixtures. Designed for seamless integration into drywall and plaster construction, Bullnose Cove is available in straight runs and preconfigured corner sections. These prefabricated components simplify the creation of continuous architectural details, reducing complex on-site fabrication while maintaining a clean, consistent profile. Once installed, finished and painted, the gypsum assembly becomes part of the surrounding architecture. The concealed lighting recess allows illumination to emerge naturally from the architectural detail, emphasizing surface texture, geometry and spatial depth without exposing the light source. Bullnose Cove can be configured with compatible Dark Tools linear LED strip systems, allowing architects and lighting designers to independently select light output, colour temperature and dimming performance. From soft ambient illumination to more pronounced architectural lighting effects, the system offers flexibility without compromising the integrity of the plaster detail.
