FORMIRROR

ForMirror is Backlight's collection of illuminated mirror systems for bathrooms, vanity areas, spas and washrooms. It brings the brand's edge-lit LED technologies to the mirror, so the light that falls on the face is soft, diffused and evenly distributed rather than coming from a point source above the glass. The collection is built on three technologies. Flush creates ultra-thin linear bands of light integrated into the mirror or the surrounding surface, horizontally or vertically. Magic Cloud creates luminous surfaces of virtually any geometry — rectangular, circular, oval, organic or free-form — set between mirrors and architectural elements. Halo creates illuminated frames, square, rectangular, round, oval or bespoke, that make the mirror itself the lighting feature. All three deliver CRI above 95 with glare-free diffused emission that wraps the subject without harsh shadows, a real advantage for grooming, makeup and wellness tasks where accurate colour and even facial light matter. Widths, lengths, shapes and colour temperatures are set per project. Like the rest of the Backlight range, ForMirror systems are produced to measure for hospitality, luxury residential, commercial and marine interiors. The panels run on 24V DC from a remote Class 2 driver and support 0–10V, DALI, DMX, ELV/MLV and Lutron control; the IP rating and wet- or damp-location suitability should be confirmed for each bathroom application.
