Powerful illumination. Minimal architectural presence. ATRIA X1 R brings substantial lighting performance to a discreet architectural downlight. Its compact 99 mm diameter conceals a powerful 16W LED system, making it particularly effective where generous illumination is required without introducing visually dominant fixtures into the architecture. Designed for demanding exterior environments, ATRIA X1 R is particularly well suited to covered entrances, exterior corridors, porticos, terraces and architectural overhangs. Its restrained appearance allows the ceiling and surrounding materials to remain visually prominent while the light defines circulation areas, highlights finishes and reinforces architectural geometry. Deeply recessed optics for exceptional visual comfort. The defining advantage of ATRIA X1 R is its deeply recessed light source. By positioning the LED well above the visible opening, the luminaire reduces direct visibility of the source and provides substantial glare protection. Three optical distributions—15°, 36° and 51°—allow designers to select precisely the lighting effect required. Narrow beams emphasize columns, entrances and architectural details, while medium and wider distributions provide more extensive illumination for circulation areas and exterior living spaces. This combination of optical control and output makes ATRIA X1 R particularly effective in elevated ceilings and outdoor environments where exposed, high-intensity light sources can become visually intrusive Engineered for demanding environments. The luminaire incorporates electronic thermal management to regulate LED power when excessive operating temperatures are detected, supporting performance in environments with ambient temperatures up to 60°C, as described by B-LIGHT. Available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K with CRI93 colour rendering, ATRIA X1 offers quality illumination suited to architectural materials and finishes. North American configurations operate at 500mA and support 0–10V or DALI dimming through compatible remote power supplies and controls.
