The Academy Art Picture Light is designed for environments where the quality of light must match the importance of the artwork. Developed as a professional-grade architectural lighting instrument, Academy combines exceptional colour fidelity with precise optical control and refined detailing. Equally suited to classical paintings and contemporary collections, it provides the performance and flexibility required for sophisticated fine-art installations. At the heart of Academy is an adjustable LED optical system with interchangeable 28° and 43° beam distributions. Individual light modules can be aimed to suit the artwork's dimensions and composition, allowing the lighting designer to refine coverage across a canvas or framed piece. This flexibility makes Academy particularly valuable for installations where uniformity, controlled illumination and careful placement are essential. With CRI 98 and an R9 value of 93, Academy reproduces subtle colour relationships, rich reds and tonal detail with remarkable fidelity. Available in 2700K and 3000K, its high-quality LED system offers two-step colour consistency, helping maintain a coherent visual presentation across multiple artworks. The fixture is configurable in lengths from 102 mm to 1524 mm, with larger custom dimensions available. Multiple mounting arrangements accommodate walls, picture frames and integrated millwork. A selection of seven standard finishes, including bronze, gold, chrome, black and white, allows the light to complement the architecture and the artwork without competing for attention. Designed, engineered and assembled in the USA, Academy operates on a 24V low-voltage system with compatible phase or 0–10V dimming.
