Metamorphosis as the transformation of crystal into a stunning lighted jewel in any interior, creates a variable jewel that enables your own compositions. These are flawlessly presented in both craftsmanship and technical execution. The delicate geometric cut of the Metamorphosis Collection on hand-blown crystal comes alive with its internal light source, highlighting amber, clear or cigar colors. Just as stars from far-away in the sky, these seemingly small lighting objects fascinate us individually and become even stronger in groups.

BOMMA Glassworks and Rückl jointly introduce Metamorphosis, a new collection of crystal lighting by Rony Plesl. This collection combines the talents of these sister glassmaking brands – the breathtaking art of hand-cut crystal from Rückl, with exceptional technical solutions and the principle of light constellations typical for BOMMA.

Founded in 2012, Bomma continually brings the traditional Czech glassmaking craft to new and dynamic levels. With centuries of glassmaking tradition in East Bohemia behind us, we are now advantaged by a rich pool of talent and top-level skills. Instead of simply maintaining these traditions, Bomma moves a step beyond and sets today’s highest standards of glassmaking.

Our master craftsmen are backed by some 300 enthusiastic team members in a new and ultra-modern production facility that thrives on in-house technology. Bomma produces 6 tons of refined extra-clear crystal each and every day. Our high-tech bespoke machinery for precise melting and measuring allows our craftsmen reach their maximum potential for manual finishing, enhancing what was always great and making it splendid. Our designed-to- purpose technology lends itself to otherwise unachievable customization and color-blending.

Bomma know-how opens its doors to designers, business partners and private clients who continually challenge our technical teams and craftsmen.
