Archier

About the brand

Architecture driven by performance.

Archier is a Melbourne-based architecture and design studio founded in 2012 by Josh FitzGerald, Chris Haddad, and Chris Gilbert — three architects who met at the University of Tasmania united by a belief that buildings should be felt, not just seen. Their practice spans residential, commercial, and government architecture; public and private landscape projects; and the design and manufacture of furniture, lighting, and fabrication products. Guided by material honesty, thermal performance, and constructability, Archier is an Australian-certified carbon neutral business and multi-award winner in sustainable design. Their lighting collection — including the iconic Highline brass pendant — is designed with the same restraint and craft that defines their architecture: quietly supporting the space rather than competing with it. Each piece is made in collaboration with Australian makers, designed to endure and develop patina over time.
